Historic Anglican Church in Brighton, East Sussex

Welcome to the Chapel Royal

The Chapel Royal provides an oasis of calm in the busy centre of Brighton. Our historic church was dedicated in 1795 and re-ordered in 1995.

We respect and welcome people from all backgrounds, regardless of age, status, relationships, ethnicity, ability or sexual orientation. We include families, couples of all relationships and single people, and people of all Christian traditions – as well as those unsure and seeking.  Honest doubters and people with questions are positively welcome.

We welcome and respect each individual, encouraging all to contribute to the life of the whole community, in whatever way they can.

We also provide a safe and welcoming space for community groups to meet and have a full programme of activities throughout the week.
